FoodWise
Small choices. A stronger day.
FoodWise reads a photo, a typed description or a barcode and scores your meal across five areas that nutrition research associates with healthy aging: blood sugar, inflammation, heart, brain and muscle.
The scoring is a fixed formula built on published frameworks, so the same meal always gets the same score and every number can be traced to the research behind it. It is built to show you patterns across days and weeks, not to grade a single plate.
What it does
Log a meal three ways
Photograph your plate, type what you ate, or scan a package. FoodWise identifies the foods and estimates the nutrition, and you can adjust anything before you save.
Five scores, each with a reason
Glycemic, Inflammation, Cardiovascular, Cognitive and Muscle. Tap any score to see what moved it and which research framework it comes from.
A formula you can check
No black box and no randomness. The method and every source behind it are published in the app.
Muscle that fits your body
Add your weight and the Muscle score measures protein against a target for your body and age, not a one-size serving.
Context without clutter
Supplements, fasting windows and Apple Health data sit alongside your food for context. They are never part of your score.
