DomiLedger

Last updated: October 13, 2026

DomiLedger is published by GrayBear Studio. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the DomiLedger app for iPhone.

The short version

We do not collect your data. Everything you enter stays on your device. DomiLedger has no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not sell or share personal information, because we never receive it.

What the app stores, and where

DomiLedger stores the information you enter on your device only: your home's details, your maintenance plan and history, costs, notes, appliances and warranties, photos and receipts you add, and condition records with their photos. This information is not sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes this information from your device.

Photos and the camera

If you allow it, DomiLedger uses the camera to take photos and to read the label on an appliance, and uses your photo library to add photos you choose. Label reading happens on your device. DomiLedger reads the date stored inside a photo so a condition record can show when it was taken. Photos are copied into the app's own storage on your device and are not uploaded.

Notifications

Maintenance reminders and warranty alerts are scheduled on your device. No notification content is sent to us.

Location

DomiLedger does not request or use your location.

Safety recall checks

To check your appliances for recalls, the app sends the brand name you entered for each appliance to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's public recall service at saferproducts.gov. Only the brand name is sent. As with any request on the internet, that service receives your device's IP address. The Commission's own privacy policy governs that service. Results are saved on your device.

Purchases

DomiLedger Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes your payment; we receive no payment details and no personal information from Apple about you. Apple's privacy policy applies to purchases.

Backups and exports

When you back up your data or export a PDF, the app creates a file and lets you choose where to save or send it, for example iCloud Drive, Files, Mail or another app. That file then sits wherever you put it, and the policies of that service apply. Your iPhone's own backup may also include the app's data, according to your device settings.

Links

Links in the app to this website open in your browser. A QR code read from an appliance label is opened only if you tap it.

Children

DomiLedger is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Your choices

You can review, change or delete anything you have entered at any time in the app. You can turn off camera, photo and notification access in your iPhone's Settings. Deleting the app removes its data from your device.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version on this page.
